Learning from Kampala (2005)

This book is dealing with global housing and urban design problems, with an emphasis on informal settlements and its’ inhabitants. It is based on a study made in Kampala, Uganda 2002.

Structured as an encyclopedic guide-book it focuses not only on our reflections and ideas to solutions, but mainly on what we can learn from the informal way of strucuring a community, as a comment on how Robert Venturies 1972 was “Learning from Las Vegas”.
